We are pleased to invite adults in the college senior to “young-ish family” phase of life to join us for our beloved annual event. We are taking every precaution to create a safe and welcoming environment, and we’ll need everyone’s participation to make this possible! See our Facebook event for detailed information and a link to the signup.
The Turkey Fry will be Saturday, October 24 at 5:30pm (weather looks good so far!). It will be held outside at Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea Co. We’re doing this early so we can be outside, and at the coffee shop so we can use the resources there to make it comfortable, warm, and dry.
Please RSVP and sign up with what you can bring and if you can help via our sign up form, and take note of all of the information in the Facebook event. Limited to 40 people to provide for social distancing.
So many things to know (read til the end!):
-Deep-fried Turkey and gravy are provided as well as coffee, wassail, and water.
-Russ will be in the back of the property, deep-frying turkeys for a couple hours before the event, and enjoys some company!
-This has historically been a kid-free event, so please find a babysitter and enjoy that rare adult conversation time. Goodness knows we all desperately need this now more than ever! Non-mobile infants welcome.
-Masks required except when you are seated at your table or 6ft away from anyone outside. Please, do not come if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is. We’d hate to miss seeing anyone, but we’d be even more sad to spread the virus. We are both following guidelines personally and because this is being held at our small business, which has guidelines too.
-Bring your instrument for a low-key jam! (Maybe no tubas?)
